. fremont at 69, wow. that's december, that is just warm. but it will all change. we've got more fog coming in tomorrow morning. rain, they will return by late tomorrow. in the early hours on wednesday, we'll get wet around the bay area and then we're going to get cold. numbers will be 15 degrees back where they were today. that's by wednesday. out the door tomorrow morning, patchy dense fog around the bay area in the mid-50s by about 9:00. with the time lapse here, high pressure that is finally going to move east as it does. and the storm track, they will shift south and then it will be sunny tomorrow with changes tomorrow night. pinpoint forecast is headed out of the bay area. it looks like the central valley fog, posted in the sierra because of the oncoming system. the pinpoint forecast numbers will be mostly in the 60s tomorrow for the bay area, but about five to seven degrees cooler than what they were today. and so 62 at danville. 58 degrees at napa and 57 degrees at the bay with your extended forecast increasing the clouds. rain on thursday, looking unsettled with the next shot of ra

about the same . 50 degrees in san rafael, 49 is your high in livermore tomorrow. 51 in fremont, and 51 out in mountain view. if you're doing any traveling across northern california, for the most part, we're expecting things to stay dry. with mostly sunny skies in redding and sacramento. tahoe, good day to head up toward the slope fist you're doing any skiing. there are no chain requirements right now on interstate 80 or highway 50. yosemite, they're expecting snow with a high of only 39 degrees. the next several days, things look unsettled on monday, still a chance of rain in the forecast but not much. any plans on new year's eve night, it looks okay. it is going to be chilly. tuesday and wednesday into thursday morning, things get more unsettled, and friday into saturday, we can get hit with more wet weather. the fireworks show, partly cloudy and cool. should be a pretty good viewing. >> the clouds just have to stay out of the way. , upper 40s. 48 for fremont, oakland at 51. san francisco at 53. two differences between this storm and the previous three. first off, the atmosphere is not as juicy. the tropical moisture is not there. yes, a front, but not a front producing heavy rainfall. the second change, we have an area of high pressure building to the south, taking the storm track and shoving it just far enough to the north that any moderate to heavy rainfall that does fall will fall not over the bay area, but instead about three to four hours to the north. so the storm check has been bumped up to the north. yes we're going to have a front and a rainfall beginning tomorrow evening. but no, no flooding will be involved. heavy rainfall will stay away from the bay area. so showers are back tomorrow afternoon. on and off rain showers throughout the day on wednesday. flooding is not a big concern, but it will be wet on wednesday. now after wednesday, we're going to be drying out for you. so it will be cloudy with rain moving in late. concordat 62. oakland at 62 for the high. 63 degrees here. low 60s in pleasant hi
